Michael Bonallack

BONALLACKS TO THAT!

Considered Britain’s greatest amateur golfer, Michael Bonallack won five British Amateur Championships and could’ve easily had a solid professional career had he opted to do so. He proved a pivotal behind-the-scenes figure on all levels of the sport, serving as Secretary of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and refereeing major tournaments. He was 88 and another joined-at-the-hip duo hit for golfers outfits The DOA Tour and In The Hole!
