Irrfan Khan

EXIT PURSUED BY A DINOSAUR

Irrfan Khan has died aged 53 from cancer. The actor was a huge star in Indian cinema, with over thirty-two awards for a variety of Bollywood films. It was in the last decade or so that he became better known to Western audiences, however, with appearances in Oscar winners and blockbusters alike. He was the Police Inspector in Slumdog Millionaire, and park owner Simon Masrani in Jurassic World. There was also appearances in Life of Pi and The Amazing Spider-man. He was diagnosed in 2018 with neuroendrocine cancer (the same sort that saw off Aretha Franklin) but had seemed in good spirits until a sudden downturn in his health in April 2020. Police are keeping tight lipped but rumours abound they are hunting a gang of suspicious pterodactyls in the Mumbai area.

Khan was picked by two teams, Tentoesup and the nefarious Pelican in the Wilderness.
