South Korean actress Yoon Jeong-hee has died aged 79. One of South Korea’s most prominent film actresses of the 60s and 70s, she had over 330 appearances to her name and was considered part of the “troika” of preeminent era actress alongside Moon Hee and Nam Jeong-im. She retired in the 90s but in 2010 came out of it for one final film appearance in Poetry, where her portrayal of a woman with Alzheimer’s who becomes enamoured with poetry gained acclaim. Life imitated art, and Yoon herself died of Alzheimer’s. She was unique for Zero Hit’s Wishlist.
