Woah yeah wait a minute Mr. Postman… don’t touch that letter. Explosive environmentalist Ted Kaczynski (long known just as the Unabomber) has been defused aged 81. Once a prodigious mathematician, he ultimately decided technology was the root of all evil and retreated to a simplistic life in a Montana cabin. If he had some kernels of valid points regarding the threat industrialisation poses to our natural world, he sort of squandered his credibility by targeting random innocents through a 17-year mail bombing campaign that killed three and injured 23.
The enigmatic Unabomber’s identity was only uncovered in 1995 when he published his manifesto and his brother recognised the writing style as his. Kaczynski was imprisoned, and quickly formed a rapport with other upstanding jailbirds such as Timothy McVeigh. A terminal cancer diagnosis in late 2021 intrigued deadpoolers, and Kaczynski maintained his flexible principles to the very end by hanging himself rather than let nature take its course. The Drop 40 graduate’s unnatural bonus delivers the goods for his 42 pickers, with co-host The Love Boat leading the charge in 4th place.
