DEAD KENNEDY

Former Liverpool football star Ray Kennedy has died aged 70, having survived over 35 years with Parkinsons disease. Kennedy had already  won the league and cup double with Arsenal before he moved to Liverpool in 1974. There, he added another five league titles to his resume, and also won three European Cups. That is one more than Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal combined, for the record. He was regarded as one of the greatest midfield players in Liverpool’s history, although he never translated that form to the England team, who tried to play him in defence with limited success. He was picked by four teams including Baldy Forever and the Forest Lawn Jockeys.
