George Logan was the Hinge in Bracket and Hinge, a drag duo of old bird classical musical aficionados. His piano-playing, acerbic Hinge served as a foil to Patrick Fyffe’s childish Bracket, and the act was a stage and TV regular for years and a reported favourite of the Queen Mother. Fyffe died in 2000, and now Logan joins suit aged 78. A unique joker hit tickles the ivories for Who’s laughing now?
