Actress Meg Wynn Owen has died aged 82. She was best known as secretary Hazel Bellamy in popular period drama Upstairs, Downstairs, whose working with the upper crust clashed with her middle-class parents. Other roles included Doctor Who and Love, Actually. She suffered from dementia in her later years, and, in horrid circumstances, was swindled out of her live savings by the sod in charge of her finances and was left destitute. Her summertime death was not known to the public until November. She was a second unique hit for People Who Could Die 2022.
