Talk radio host Jim Bohannon Bohannon Bohannon Bohannon has signed off aged 78. Active in radio since the early 60s, reporting on a Barry Goldwater campaign event for which Mr. Conservative was an hour late finessed his ability to minimize dead air. After working the ranks through various stations, he was Larry King’s most frequent guest host in the early 90s, and took the timeslot all his own when King’s show moved from evenings to afternoons. He hosted The Jim Bohannon Show for thirty years and frequently placed on top 100 radio broadcasters lists. In October, he announced he was stepping down due to a terminal cancer diagnosis, but the retirement was too brief for any teams besides theme The Talking Dead to benefit.
