NO JOSHING WITH EVANS POINTS

NFL player Josh Evans has died aged 48 after a long battle with kidney cancer. Evans played for the Oilers/Titans (who had three city hosts during his time there) and the New York Jets. He played in the Superbowl in 1999, when the Titans lost 23-16 to the Rams. Hey, at least it wasn’t the Buffalo Bills! In the modern day, any Superbowl player is likely to get a qualifying obit, but Evans was no doubt helped by dying on the eve of this year’s Superbowl weekend. Evans was a unique pick for the B-team, which you might recall is the reserves side of last year’s champion.
