Vladimir Putin is a cunt. This is not an opinion. But there is very little risk to saying this on a niche deadpooling website whilst Putin is too preoccupied by his own deadpools that lack a “you can’t murder your picks” rule. Alexei Navalny, meanwhile, was the most vocal voice against Vlad on his home turf for the past decade, earning much admiration for putting his life on the line to speak the truth. Skewering Putin’s United Russia as a “party of crooks and thieves”, his dissidence was only hardened further by Putin’s usual strategies of convenient imprisonments and Novichok attacks. Death was the only way to quiet him, and so it is appalling yet ultimately not shocking that Putin went that route. Though his death is “officially” mysterious circumstances, so no unnatural points even though we all know it was. He was 47 and picked by seven teams.
