Pedro Morales

The great forgotten ace in the history of the WWF/WWE, Pedro Morales held the WWWF World Heavyweight Title between 1971 (beating Ivan Koloff) and 1973 (losing it to Stan Stasiak). Puerto Rican by birth, he was a major draw with Latinos in the New York area and to this day has the fifth longest WWF world title run, as well as the longest spell as intercontinental champion. However, as his reigns at the top were sandwiched between two Bruno Sammartino runs, he was always “that other guy” in the pre-Hogan Titan. As a result, only one team voted for Pedro this time out: The One’s That Won’t Go Away get their first ever DDP hit.
