NO HARM NO FOWLER
Detective novelist Christopher Fowler has cracked his last case aged 69. Fowler first worked as a film marketer and coined the βIn space, no one can hear you screamβ tagline for Alien. He embarked on a literary career in the 80s, penning many a thriller such as Roofworld and Rune. His biggest success was the Bryant & May series, featuring a London-based detective duo solving crimes across the decades. In 2020 he announced a rare form of cancer that placed him on some astute longlists, but not announcing the end was near until this January meant that he was relegated to Reptile/Bananaβs B teams and a theme team of Chrises.
