Wilf Lunn

EUREKA, THEY FOUND HIM

Madcap inventor Wilf Lunn has died aged 81. The child of deaf parents, he became a familiar face on the hearing-impaired-geared children’s programme Vision On, where he displayed zany bicycle contraptions like the pigeon catcher and the choir boy tuner. His popularity spread and he was soon appearing on Eureka, Jigsaw, and Ask Aspel. He also guested on Jim’ll Fix It and Rolf on Saturday, OK!, where his concept of a paedo radar bicycle had to be scrapped when it kept honking in front of the hosts. He was a unique for Unusual Suspects, and his funeral will see his corpse carried off a bicycle that crashes into a ledge, the momentum propelling him onto a spring that makes his flying body hit a switch. He lands on a seesaw, but the switch opens a container concealing a refrigerator that falls after he lands, causing the seesaw to fling him into the coffin.
