A HARD ROAD
Bluesman John Mayall has died aged 90. He formed his Bluesbreakers in the 60s and his band would nurture many of the British blues greats including Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Peter Green, and Mick Taylor. He never quite reached the stardom of his proteges but remained in high regard for his influence and was announced as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee earlier this year. He was picked by Sung Their Last Song.
