Amidst Florida becoming to the 2020s what Argentina was to the late 1940s, it can be easy to forget that the Sunshine State’s Democratic Party once had a pulse. One of its biggest success stories was one Bob Graham, a Harvard-educated attorney who deftly appeared working-class by holding over 400 “workdays” where he emulated a specific job, whether it be tomato picker or construction worker, to relate to the common man. The gimmick worked and he enjoyed a popular stint as governor during the 80s that segued to three terms in the Senate. He was 87 and rumour has it that the Florida Dems are gearing to nominate his corpse in attempt to recapture some of their former glory…
