BOOK CLOSES ON KELLS

Fancy that, in this update we have both a Billy Graham and an evangelist who take forever to die finally giving up the ghost. Theologian Tim Keller founded the Manhattan-based Redeemer Presbyterian Church in 1989, which was seen as a long shot to succeed but blossomed to a membership of 5,000+. From his pulpit and swathes of best-selling books he espoused typical evangelical ideology of opposing abortion, gay rights, premarital sex, etc., but because he said it in a soft-spoken tone and didn’t publicly support Trump he looked sensible about it. Pancreatic cancer struck in 2020 and he’d been a DDP mainstay since, despite a QO risk that has been duly quashed hours after his death. He was 72 and among the winning choir are The Living End, Smart Beta, Fade To Black, and Plan B from Outer Space.
