Australian actress Mary Ward has died aged 106. The first female reporter on ABC Radio, she was dubbed Australia’s Forces Sweetheart during World War 2. In an acting career she was best known for the soap Sons and Daughters, and for her role as memorable convict Mum in the cult classic drama Prisoner (Cell Block H). Ward was picked by two teams, Roasting Bodies in Redcar and Solyent Green is You.
