Kenny Rogers

KENNYS OUT OF ACES

Legendary country musician Kenny Rogers has died aged 81. With over 100 million albums sold in his lifetime, he burst out of the country music niche with world wide hits like The Gambler and a duet with Dolly Parton on BeeGees penned Islands in the Stream. And Coward of the Country, which hasn’t aged as well. Instantly recognisable for his Santa like looks, Rogers was touring and winning fans well into his late 70s, until health problems intervened. A death from cancer after a short spell in hospice care still appeared to be enough of an under the radar case for him to not be picked by that many names in this years DDP.  8 teams in all went for the music man, including DDP veterans Tentoesup.
