Christoph Daum

GOD DAUM

German football coach Christoph Daum has died aged 70. He saw success abroad in Turkey and Austria and at home won the Bundesliga with Stuttgart. His turn with Bayer Leverkusen saw the team nicknamed β€œNeverkusen” for their repeat bridesmaiding at the Bundesliga, though his work on the team helped pave the way for their bouquet catching earlier this year. He was eyed for the German national team, but scrutiny uncovered a coke scandal that derailed his prospects. Indeed, it was this kind of rowdy lifestyle that cued in some deadpoolers that even a good prognosis for his lung cancer may have been too much for a body like his, and drunkasaskunk and Pan Breed are among those on the climb.
