DAY OF HIS DEATH
Actor and Jennifer’s dad, John Aniston, has died aged 89. Greek-born Aniston shortened his name from Anastassakis, and was a soaps regular in the 70s onward before landing his most prominent role in Days of Our Lives as suave on-and-off mobster Victor Kiriakis. He continued to play the character until his death and his final episode will air in a few weeks’ time. He was a unique for A Yankee’s picks.
