BALLET SLIPPED
The post on the DeathList forums announcing this guyโs death got a lot of likes, for some reason, so I figured he deserved a lengthy obit. Unfortunately, I donโt care enough about ballet to do so. Henry Danton was a fixture of the London dance scene during WWII, and toured internationally after the war. He later taught ballet in addition to performing, particularly in the Americas (he was seen as a guiding light of the scene in Venezuela and Colombia). Danton was still active at the time of his 2019 centennial, and in the same year received a medal he earned in 1942 that he couldnโt receive then due to a metal shortage. With Danton now off the stage aged 102, unique pointes come to The Colnbrook Coroner.
