FADE TO BLACK(MORE)

Welsh rugby player Steve Blackmore has died aged 58. He played for Cardiff RFC in the 1980s, and made an international debut during the 1987 Rugby Five Nations. This debut impressed enough for him to receive a call up to the first ever Rugby World Cup, where he played in the semifinals in Wales defeat to New Zealand. An interview about his glioblastoma in his local newspaper last year put him on the radar of several DDP regulars including Cancerous Hatred, Heading Nowhere, Day in the Death and some guy called Pan Breed. Nope, never heard of that guy. Also, The Love Boat had Blackmore, and they now move within two points of the Gabor Sister at the top. It’s going to be a fascinating race for the title, this year.
