Patricia Hitchcock

STRANGERS IN A CREM

Actress Patricia Hitchcock has died aged 93. The only daughter of film legend Alfred Hitchcock, she appeared in four of his films in small roles, and The Ten Commandments. Hitchcock made several TV appearances, including in the Alfred Hitchcock Presents TV show, but her famous relations stopped her branching out, as did deciding to retire and raise her three children. Her biggest role in film is in her fathers classic Strangers on a Train, where a famous tennis player is unlucky to bump into a psycho on a busy train who tells him of his plans to commit the perfect murder, and then demonstrates it by bumping off the tennis star’s ex-wife. Pat Hitchcock is the sister of star Farley Granger’s new love interest and the first person to become suspicious of the psycho’s behaviour. It’s an important role and she played it well. She was picked by three teams: Dial D for Deadpool, Phantom’s Pix n Mix, and Moribold Krakatoa’s Playhour.
