PAT’S FINAL FURLONG

Jockey Pat Smullen has died aged 43 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Over a twenty-six year career riding horses, he won several titles, including nine Irish champion jockey titles. He had been fighting pancreatic cancer for three years, and as such was a pick for several regular contenders, including reigning champions Thomas Jefferson Survives. Others include the current top two, Day in the Death and The Love Boat, and regular players such as Shaun of the Dead, Carkers Convention, and I’m Sorry for your Trouble.
