MILFORD IN A GRAVES
Jazz drummer Milford Graves has died aged 79. Graves worked with the avante-garde movement of the 1960s, and contributed with Paul Bley. He viewed the role of the drummer as being at the heart of the action in music. He had been suffering from heart issues for some time.
