Evangelist Luis Palau has died after a long battle with cancer. He was one of the more popular televangelists in recent memory with over 25 million followers across Latin America. He was viewed as the successor to Billy Graham but unlike Billy Graham he barely made his early 80s, and unlike Graham he had a reluctance to involve himself in politics. As his health was in a holding pattern until late in the day, he was a unique pick for veterans Mr C.
