Jean-Paul Belmondo

THE HUNTER GOT HIM

French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo has died aged 88, two decades after suffering a life changing stroke. Belmondo was also the envy of many across the world with his 7 year relationship with Bond Girl Ursula Andress. Considered the French Brando, he had a fondness for women and for playing police officers. He refused several big money deals to go to Hollywood, remaining a champion of French cinema, although Belmondo did make a cameo appearance in the 1967 Casino Royale. His film credits included Breathless, Pierrot le Fou and Ace of Aces, but he also played Cyrano de Bergerac and Jean Valjean. He was picked by three teams: Pearly Gates, Vive la France et la mort, and Quebec’s Predictions, for whom Belmondo was their joker.
