THEY’RE CHASEN ANGELS INSTEAD
Soap actress Heather Chasen has died aged 92. She was best known for her role of Valerie (not Su’s mum) Pollard in Crossroads, but also had recurring roles in Eastenders and The Navy Lark. Openly bisexual, she had a child with John Webster (the briefly an actor in If… Rupert Webster) and a long term relationship with fellow soap star Amanda Barrie. She also played Miss Marple on stage, and toured Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
Chasen was picked by two theme teams, Not going in a Black Cab, and Slippery Soap.
