Bruce Kirby

JUST ONE LESS THING

Actor Bruce Kirby has died aged 95. He was a regular face on US TV, from Hogan’s Heroes to Scrubs, but was probably best known for his nine appearances in hit TV cop series Columbo. In six of those he played Columbo’s loyal deputy Sgt Kramer, including in fan favourite Identity Crisis, as well as the godawful Last Salute to the Commodore. A good friend of Peter Falk (has Alzheimers), he reappeared in the 90s revival, but was a dependable character actor into later life, showing up on The West Wing, The Sopranos and Oscar winning film Crash. He was a unique pick for The Old Ones Are The Pests.
