Bob Gibson

STRUCK OUT

Baseballer Bob Gibson has died aged 84. Gibson’s battles with pancreatic cancer were long documented, hence he was picked by 15 teams, including several regular contenders: Deceased Hose, David Quantick’s Showbiz Pals and Drollercoaster to pick but three.  He played for the St Louis Cardinals for 15 years as a pitcher, and won the World Series twice, in 1964 and 1967.
