Beth Chapman (nee Barrmore) was the fifth person to marry Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, and the woman who had the fortune of being his wife while he managed to keep a vague cap on his substance abuse issues and got himself a TV deal. She was with him while he successfully tracked down rapist and Max Factor heir Andrew Luster, and when the show was put on hold for a year after footage leaked of Duane going a bit “Kramer at the Laugh Factory” on one of his sons’ black girlfriend.
Chapman was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017 – few backed her to pass in 2018 but she became a popular pick this time out, no doubt aided by a series of TV appearances late last year where she let on her time on this planet was limited. Her passing increases GUN Away’s lead at the top of the DDP to 11 points, and no doubt has him offering to donate his own stem cells to keep Fernando Ricksen alive for another six months.
